ACT ALUMNI WINS TWO STANDARD BANK OVATION AWARDS

All congratulations are due to ACT alumni Gcebile Piliso Dlamini and her production team on recently receiving not just one, but TWO Standard Bank Ovation Awards at the National Arts Festival Makhanda (NAF) 2023 for their brilliant showing The Stories We See.

The Stories We See was presented by Gcebile Dlamini Foundation in partnership with the Johannesburg Society for the Blind and Joburg Child Welfare (Thembalethu Inner City Play Project) and proudly supported by Moving into Dance and ASSITEJ South Africa.

Gcebile and her production team wish to dedicate these awards to the late choreographer Trevor BigBoy Ndlovu whose talent and passion were instrumental to the making of this production.
