The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), an organisation dedicated to the fostering and development of dancers and choreographers who remain true to the highest ideals of the artist in whose work the pursuit of perfection is the ultimate achievement proudly presents Rhythm and Dance, the Royal Academy of Dance (KwaZulu-Natal) annual Showcase of Dance and fundraiser, which comes to the Playhouse Opera for two shows on Saturday September 9, 2023.
Convened by Stav Bozas and Olivia Lume, Rhythm and Dance not only celebrates the splendid development of the students’ skills and their enjoyment of their achievement and growing sense of self-worth but also gives recognition to the teachers who throughout the year invested many hours of dedicated training of their students to ensure that both technically and creatively their contribution would bear the hall mark of excellence in skill, knowledge and understanding.
