The KZNSA shop has just unpacked a new range of Ceramic pieces and rugs.

The ELC Art and Craft Center at Rorke’s Drift in KZN was established in 1962 and had a significant impact on the development of South African Art and Craft from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

The purpose was to set up a Weaving Workshop for local women, who were trained and employed. They were meant to prepare women students from all over the country as Art and Craft Advisors in a two-year course. The Centre has since supported and nurtured local artists who were trained in weaving, ceramic making and textile printing.

KZNSA has been supporting their initiative by arranging these beautifully handcrafted works to be displayed and sold from their shop. They also make them available to the customers across the globe via the online shop. Visit the online shop today.

The KZNSA Gallery is situated at 166 Bulwer Road, Glenwood, in Durban. More information on 031 277 1705 or cell 082 220 0368 or visit
