Join The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music for a Pop Voice recital by Keziah Rebekah Varadarajulu next Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 17h30

Keziah Rebekah Varadarajulu is a 22-year-old pop singer. She was born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. She discovered her passion for voice at a young age whilst singing in her grandfather’s church.

She attended Swanvale Primary School and went on to graduate from Rydalpark Secondary School. She is currently studying at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) where she is studying towards her Bachelor of Arts in Music (BAMus4).

The university has brought many good opportunities her way. Keziah has sung with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra (KZNPO) in different occasions, as well as other campus events such as the Jazz Jol. She is involved in her church’s worship team (Rivers Church). She considers herself to be a zealous worship leader. During her time in UKZN, she has been awarded seven merits certificates and three Deans Commendations.
