Quartetto Aurora is a new String Quartet recently founded by members of the KZN Philharmonic in their debut performance for the Friends of Music on Sunday April 7, 2024, at 14h30 at the Durban Jewish Centre.
Featuring the following musicians performing the music of Joseph Haydn who is considered the father of the string quartet:
Violin: Evgeny Zadhanov (KZNPO Concert Master) and Vanja Radlovacki (new Principal of 2nd violins)
Viola: Annamaria D’Andrea
Cello, Ayanda Makulwana
The Quartet will play beautiful music written by Joseph
