THE GREAT GATSBY PARTY

On October 27, Platform Jazz will present the Great Gatsby Party at the Durban Jewish Centre.

Presented by Friends of Music and with sponsorship from KZN Performing Arts Trust, the band Platform Jazz, with singer Shelley Mclean-Downham will take audiences back to the roaring 20s.Get those spats on, those flapper dresses the fascinators and pearls and come for an afternoon of toe-tapping, finger-snapping jazz.

The band will feature: Cathy Peacock on trumpet; Jeff Robinson on sax; Kirsten Sayers on clarinet; David Solomon on trombone; Bruce Baker on drums, Andreas Kappen on bass, Melvin Peters on piano and Shelly Mclean-Downham on vocals.

The concert takes place at the Durban Jewish Centre on Sunday October 27, 2024, at 14h30.

There will be tables of 10 and patrons may bring drinks and snacks.

Door open at 13h30. Show is at 14h30
