Colouring my past - Bonginkosi Ngcobo’s premier at the Tatham
The Tatham art Gallery in Pietermaritzburg will be opening Bonginkosi Ngcobo’s exhibition, Colouring my Past, on Sunday February 2, 2025, at 11h00. He is an up-and-coming local artist from Machibisa whose works features imagery from his rural upbringing and belief that the past will always influence our present.
Ngcobo’s art features bold colour and line use with simplified forms that is reminiscent of post-impressionism. His works are done in oil pastel and acrylic.
Ngcobo will be the Tatham’s artist in residence from Wednesday March 12 to Friday March 14, 2025, and will be available between 10h00 and 15h00.
Safe parking will be available at the Tatham and the legislature building.
