Westville Girls’ High School to present musical by Stephen Sondheim.

Westville Girls’ High School is stepping Into The Woods this October as they present Stephen Sondheim’s most popular musical. Inspired by the timeless tales of the Brothers Grimm, Into The Woods tells the story of a Baker and his Wife who journey into the woods on a quest to lift a witch’s curse. On the way they cross paths with Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Cinderella and a menagerie of other fairy tale characters. They each pursue individual wishes until their stories become entangled in unexpected ways – revealing what happens after “happily ever after.”

Directed by Claire Leech with musical direction by Luke Holder, this much loved musical spectacular combines the very best Westville Girls’ High School has to offer so don’t miss out on this magical charming and unforgettable experience.

Into The Woods has performances from October 24 to 30 at 18h30 (excluding Sunday) with an extra matinee performance on October 25 at 13h00.

Tickets R40 available from Westville Girls’ High School on 031 266 1258.
