WATERSHED LAUNCH ALBUM

Watershed launch new album on October 26 at Suncoast Casino & Entertainment World

One of SA’s best-loved bands Watershed is set to perform on the Suncoast Sundeck at Suncoast Casino & Entertainment World on October 26. This will be the band’s first performance in the city, since the release of their acclaimed new album Staring at the Ceiling.

Recognised as one of South Africa’s most popular and successful bands, Watershed released their highly anticipated fourth album, Staring at the Ceiling, in August. Following the hugely successful Mosaic, which was released in October 2005, the new album has been a long time coming. While three months short of three years is no small gap, Staring at the Ceiling has been well worth the wait, says lead singer and songsmith Craig Hinds.

“Suncoast is a really great venue and has everything you could possibly want for a great afternoon out, the sun, the sea, a cool picnic setup and of course the best music,” says Watershed’s road manager, Este James. ”We are always looking for great new spots to perform and this is one of them; the band cant wait!”

The show starts at 16h00 on October 26 and the Suncoast Sundeck is open from 13h00 for picnic-goers to settle in before the band arrives. Tickets R80 available from Computicket
