This proves to be a difficult task and the princess sets off in her quest for the necklace, learning some valuable lessons about life on the way.
The series is produced by Raeesa Mahomed and was recorded in the SABC drama studios in Durban by the director, Caroline Smart. It makes full use of a wide range of sound effects and music to create the period. The language is also reflective of the times and was written by Clinton Marius. The actors rose to the challenge and the result is a highly entertaining, well-crafted piece of radio drama.
