ANDY CAPP CHRISTMAS PARTY

Colin Penn and his band to present fun show with strong Cockney humour!

“Internationally renowned beer expert Andy Capp and his wife Florrie were expecting a flood of South African visitors to spend Christmas in their English pub, but with the Rand being so dodgy, Andy decided that it would be cheaper to bring the pub to us. And what an early Christmas party he is throwing!” says well-known entertainer Colin Penn who is also on the show.

‘I jus fought that it would be a lotta fun and as many of you lot ave already been in an British pub, yer knows wot to expect’; said Andy/Colin. “‘Because we’re goin’ to ‘ave a Poep Idols contest, I brought me mate Chalkie to ‘elp me out, like. I’m a visiting Pom so I ain’t got a local likker license and Flo can’t ‘elp me in the kitchen so yer bring yer own grub and yer own booze.

“Lots of gags, lots of singing, lots of memories of the old country; so if yer want a bit of ands, knees and boompsadaisy and Lambeth Walk, leave it to yer Uncle Andy.

‘Come an ave a pint and a chinwag wif Chalkie and me, don’t ferget to bring yer own grub and booze, we’ve got the rest.”

The Andy Capp Christmas Show takes place on December 7 at the Norwegian Hall in Musigrave at 13h00. Tickets R60 booked through Barbara at 031 564 5135.
