POLINA BURDUKOVA AND KERRYN WISNIEWSKI RECITAL

Cello and piano recital at St George’s Garrison Church in Pietermaritzburg on November 9.

In Pietermaritzburg on November 9, there will be a cello and piano recital by Polina Burdukova (cello) and Kerryn Wisniewski (paino).

In 1992, the two shared the Overall Winner Prize at the ABSA Youth Competition. After meeting up again years later in 2005, the Burdukova/Wisniewski Cello-Piano Duo was created and has played regularly around the country. On the programme is Boccherini’s Sonata No.6 in A; Schumann’s Fantasiestuke, Op.73 and Martinu’s Variations on theme by Rossini.
