Mr Price hosts annual traditional concert in the Durban Botanic Gardens on December 15 at 6pm
The Durban Botanic Gardens will host their annual traditional Mr Price Carols by Candlelight fund-raising concert on December 15. The concert once again offers a wonderful evening of choir and carols to celebrate the Festive Season. A treat for the whole family to enjoy, with music provided by the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Naume Rousine, the Durban Symphonic Choir and soloists Lauren Dasappa and Robert Petersen.
The programme is like a traditional stocking – filled with all things bright and beautiful to celebrate the festive season. Bring along a picnic basket with special treats and enjoy the music and the magic of an evening concert beside the lake. Father Christmas will be there to meet the children.
Donations of clothing or toys for disadvantaged children would be appreciated. They will be distributed to various organisations in and around Durban. Phakamisa will be selling candles and all funds go towards their outreach programme for children and families affected by AIDS.
The concert starts at 18h00 on December 15. Tickets R80 (R60 for senior citizens and scholars aged between 13 and 18) Tickets R20 for children six to 12 (children under six free) Booking at Computicket.
