Catch Unforgettable, the Playhouse Company’s spectacular festive season block-buster, now running in the Playhouse Opera theatre until December 19. Experience the wow factor with this big-stage song-and-dance extravaganza. Powerhouse director Mark Hawkins and designer Dicky Longhurst, and the starry line-up of legendary South African stage star Sam Marais, sassy Gina Shmukler (Chess), sweet toned Renee (High 5), & Durban’s own Pume Zondi, ensure this show sizzles from first to last. Chasing Tales, the enchanting children’s production plays in The Loft from December 10 to 20. This song, dance and story-telling show features favourite fairytale characters. A Sangoma finds herself locked in the library after her dog mixed up her throwing bones. Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother appears from the story books on the shelves, and together the two ladies combine their powers to conjure up familiar characters and objects to find the ingredients for an escape. Along the way, all the characters become muddled and the young members of the audience are asked to help untangle them. David Gouldie directs this fun piece, with Slindiwe Nodangala and Tammy Saville heading the gifted cast.

Catch Buckled in the Drama theatre! This hilarious two-hander directed by Krijay Govender (Queens of Comedy) focuses on Weddings and Marriage. It stars award winning actors Leeanda Reddy (Isidingo, Queens of Comedy, Mr Bones 2) and Meren Reddy (City Sesla, Mr Bones 2). With just three performances up for grabs - December 19 and 20 at 20h00 and on December 21 at 18h0 - advance booking is essential to secure seats for this not-to-be-missed fun show.
