Music Revival presents popular year-end concert in Pietermaritzburg.

The highly active Music Revival organisation will present its popular year-end concert performance with a party atmosphere offering a welcome respite from the holiday rush ( or boredom) and an opportunity to be entertained and enthralled over the festive season.

This year, Christopher Duigan and his team present an innovative move in that they will offer the audience an opportunity to be involved in the programming for each performance by selecting the music to be played in the programme.

The list of 230 plus possibilities from current repertoire of piano solos, melodies, and vibrant numbers that have been mostly included in similar concert performances over the last 11 years list is available at

Audiences are invited to browse though the list, make a selection of five favourites they would like to hear, and send them through when booking for the concert.

The New Year’s Mixed Bag concert takes place on December 29, 30 and 31 as well as on January 2 and 3 at 19h30. There will also be a performance on January 4 at 15h30. Tickets R80 include a glass of wine and coffee. The concert takes place at 35 Montgomery Drive, Athlone in Pietermaritzburg. Booking is essential. Performance time is approximately 120 minutes including interval. Patrons may bring their own additional bottle of wine to enjoy.
