RAINBOW'S 27TH BIRTHDAY!

Presented by Castle Milk Stout, Rainbow Restaurant's 27th Birthday Celebrations to feature the Brian Thusi Band.

The Rainbow Restaurant and Jazz Club's 27th Birthday Celebrations on December are to feature the Brian Thusi Band and presented by Castle Milk Stout.

“This year saw the release of trumpeter Brian Thusi's first full length solo album entitled Nomakunjalo,” says Rainbow’s co-owner Neil Comfort. “Not surprisingly, after just ten minutes of playing the CD at the Rainbow the first customer came up to the bar and asked where he could purchase a copy. I pretty much made up my mind then and there that Thusi and his full eight-piece band would be the perfect outfit for our birthday celebrations this year.”

The Birthday Celebrations take place on December 21 with the doors opening at 12h00 and the first set taking place just after 13h00. Tickets R40 (R30 Rainbow Jazz Club members)
