JOMBA! 2009 FRINGE DAYS

Applications invited for the Youth Fringe and Fringe performance on April 25 and 26.

Choreographers and dance companies are invited to apply for participation on the JOMBA! Contemporary Dance Experience 2009’s Fringe programme which takes place on April 26 at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre.

Applications are also invited for the JOMBA! Youth Fringe programme on April 25 at 14h00 at a community-based venue which is yet to be confirmed. The Youth Fringe is only open to choreographers and performers under the age of 16 years, working specifically in the idioms of contemporary and fusion dance. Works submitted for consideration may not exceed an eight-minute duration. It is important to note that the JOMBA! Youth Fringe is not a competition – groups who are selected to showcase their works receive no awards/remuneration financially or otherwise. Enquiries to Clare Craighead on 082 875 6065.

All forms need to be filled in as accurately as possible and submitted, either by hand or fax, to the Centre for Creative Arts on fax 031 260 3074.
