MUSIC IN THE MIDLANDS

New festival of classical concerts presented by Music Revival.

A new festival of classical concerts in the KZN - Midlands is set to offer a unique opportunity to enjoy top quality performances in the rustic and rural setting of Nottingham Road.

Presented by KZN-based concert initiative Music Revival, Music in the Midlands sees acclaimed concert pianist Christopher Duigan joined by some of South Africa's most outstanding concert performers. These include Johannesburg-based baritone Federico Freschi, James Grace (guitar) from Cape Town and the renowned Kerimov Trio with Russian virtuosi Boris and Elena Kerimov, from Durban.

Set in the picturesque village of Nottingham Road, a variety of venues act as a backdrop to the music performances and include churches, restaurants ands eateries. This is a weekend not be missed offering a exceptional opportunity to take in all the sights, activities and sounds of one of the most popular weekend destinations in between a selection of magnificently presented concerts through the day.
