Eclectic, sassy four-piece jazz combo performs regularly at various venues.

Beat-Route, the eclectic, sassy four-piece jazz combo featuring Daniel Sheldon (trumpet/percussion), the inimitable Gerald Sloan (guitar/vocals), Logan Byrne (upright bass) and Tony Muirhead on drums play at various venues.

On Mondays from 18h30 to 21h00, Beat-Route plays a mix of tunes in the jazz idiom at Primi Plantation, in the Lifestyle Centre, Ballito. The venue offers a New Orleans style dinner and jazz, ideal for the family.

Every Friday afternoon they are at Market (ex Manna) on Marriot Road in Durban from 12h30 to 14h30, offering music that’s laid back and sweet.

A more “real classy” formal set is offered every Saturday evening from 19h30 to 21h30 at Society on Florida Road in Durban.
