The March meeting of the North Coast Art Group will take place on March 14 at the La Lucia Library.

Lynn from Jackie Ceramics will give a demonstration as well as an interesting and informative talk on painting on ceramics.

Entrance R25 (R10 NCAG members) includes tea and eats. For new members, this will open up a new world of emails informing them about forthcoming exhibitions, the chance to exhibit on local exhibitions as well as tips and ideas related to painting and other creative work.

Each month the NCAG tries to find interesting, motivational and inspirational speakers or artists to give demonstrations and lectures as well as occasional hand-on workshops. The group has an in-house competition with a theme which offers a small prize for the winner voted by all the members attending. Photography is now included as a medium and at the end of the year, the Annual Awards Exhibition displays the work of members done during the year. This is selected on merit, motivating members (even newcomers) to produce at least one good work of art.
