PRIME CIRCLE

Premier rock band brings their Consider The World national tour to the Barnyard.

The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway has established itself as a hugely popular live-music venue with many of South Africa’s top bands and performers. After sold-out shows last year and earlier this year, South Africa’s premier rock band Prime Circle will return to the venue for two shows only on June 5 and 6.

Having kicked off their Consider The World national tour in Pretoria in March and playing the length and breadth of the country to capacity crowds, Prime Circle are currently on a roll with their third and latest album, All Or Nothing nearing platinum status and recent performances in the United Arab Emirates forming part of the tour.

The band - consisting of Ross Learmonth on vocals and rhythm guitar, Dale Schnettler on drums, Dirk Bisschoff guitar and vocals, Neil Breytenbach on keyboards and Marco Gomes on bass guitar – has practically owned the airwaves since All Or Nothing got under the skin of a market, hankering for the very best in modern rock. Not only will their Consider The World tour expose Prime Circle’s three album’s worth of power ballads and electric guitar fuelled rock, it’ll bring the tens of thousand of fans out for a live experience not likely to be repeated for a while as international demand for the band continues to grow.

The Consider The World tour is set to top anything Prime Circle has delivered live to date and also serves as a rewarding forerunner to the world that awaits them later in the year. “This is the beginning of another exciting chapter for Prime Circle,” says Prime Circle’s manager Franie Kotze, “and this tour is a fitting thank you to their South African fans. It’s also a great opportunity for everyone to see the band before they take great South African modern rock on an even an even bigger trek around the world.”

Barnyard audiences can expect to hear Prime Circle’s latest hits from their hugely successful All Or Nothing album which include their first three hit singles Out Of This Place, She Always Gets What and Consider Me. Also in the line up will be their classics like Hello, My Inspiration, Same Goes For You, Let Me Go, Crazy World, As Long As I Am Here, Maybe Wrong, Live This Life and Miracle.

Performances take place on June 5 and 6. Tickets R140 pp and seating will be as for normal shows, with no standing room. Bookings through The Barnyard Theatre on 031 566 3045. More information on e-mail gateway@barnayrdtheatre.co.za
