Ticket sales now open for highly anticipated tour of international opera star and KZNPO.

Ticket sales will open at 09h00 on June 1 for the highly anticipated Renée Fleming / KZN Philharmonic National Tour, taking place in August and September 2009.

Marketing Manager for the KZN Philharmonic, Janet Finch, explained the rationale behind this decision, saying: "In order to give everyone an equal opportunity to purchase tickets for this tour, we decided to open bookings at a time coinciding with the opening times of the Computicket offices and booths. Therefore online and manual ticketing will open simultaneously and will not prejudice those members of the public who do not have access to the internet."

A little over 3,500 tickets will go on sale for the three concerts taking place in Durban on August 27, Pretoria on August 29 and in Cape Town on September 1. Ticket prices range from R150 to R550 depending on positioning and will be sold on a first come, first served basis, restricted to a maximum of ten tickets per transaction.

A limited number of tickets in restricted areas will be available at a reduced price for pensioners and students. These tickets are only available through Computicket outlets (not online or telephonic) and subject to presentation of valid student or pensioner identification.
