ROCK FOR ST THOMAS

Westville Theatre Club to present fund-raising foot-stomping rock ‘n roll show.

Westville Theatre Club presents Rock for St Thomas - a foot-stomping rock-‘n-roll show with heart! All proceeds from the show will be donated to St Thomas Home for Children.

A fire devastated the St Thomas home when it swept through part of the building in March 2009. The hall and crèche were damaged and will have to be completely rebuilt. (Refer The Mercury, March 23 2009, Edition 1).

Veteran director Jill Sysum and her cast will have audiences rocking down memory lane! Sysum also directed the sell-out benefit shows Rock for Asia (for the Tsunami survivors) and Rock for Africa (for AIDS orphans). Musical Director, Heather Dix, adds to the experience by heading up a live band for the show. Songs include My Guy, I believe, Mrs Robinson, Another One Bites The Dust, Only The Lonely, Mr Bo Jangles, Teddy Bear, Shake Rattle and Roll and many more!
