Old Mutual Music at The Lake Concert in Durban Botanic Gardens.
Performing for the first time in the Durban Botanic Gardens at the Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert series is the up and coming SAMA Award winning group Zebra and Giraffe. The Friends of the Durban Botanic Gardens and East Coast Radio, Durban’s No 1, invite music lovers to come and enjoy a picnic at the lake and support another of South Africa’s highly rated rock bands.
The band will be performing numbers from their 2008 album Collected Memories which has received rave reviews and has produced three hit singles, namely The Knife, Arm Yourself and Oxymoron.
Opening the concert at 14h30 is the group Starplayer comprising Ryan Lunn on vocals and guitar, Scoop on bass, Antony Ellis on drums and Nigel Seed also plays guitar. This band has played various music concerts and forms a perfect partnership with Zebra and Giraffe in the rock music genre.
The Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert takes place in the Durban Botanic Gardens at 14h30 on June 21. Gates open at 12h30.
