LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANKS!!!

Mark Banks comes to Rhumbelow Theatre from July 24.

Mark Banks blazes back to Durban stages with his hilarious all-new one-man show Laughing All The Way to the Banks!!! from July 24 at the Rhumbelow Theatre.

With the credit crunch biting hard ... swine flu but a sneeze away ... boom and gloom galore and now the latest outbreak of Sepp Blatter at the Confederations Soccer World Cup. There's only one possible antidote ... a good dose of Mark Banks.

After months of very delicate, confidential and highly intricate negotiation through Facebook, Mark Banks will be at the Rhumbelow for a short impact-making run.

Laughing All The Way to the Banks!!! is Banks's latest look at present-day life in South Africa and will be targeting all the everyday foibles we live with or without. The SABC, SAA, FIFA, NPA, SAFA, Parliament, WWF, environmental warming, crime, supermarkets, the Durban July and the preservation of the La Mercy Airport runway sparrow are just a few of the many topics Banks hopes to cover in his 80 minutes of non-stop stand up.

Shows take place on July 24 and 25 at 20h00 and July 26 at 14h00 and 18h30. Further performances take place the following weekend on July 31 and August 1 at 20h00 and on August 2 at 14h00 and 18h30. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.

Tickets R100. Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
