MIRAGE

Short film by Mlu Zondi presented at Irish film festival.

Mirage, a short film by Durban visual artist and director Mlu Zondi was presented at the Guth Gafa International Documentary Festival in Ireland, UK in June. The film formed part of Postcards to the Edge, an Installation of six short films.

The festival commissioned six South African visual artists, photographers and directors to create short, quirky, intense video pieces around the concept of Postcard, The Edge, Cutting Edge, Edgy.

The six films were curated by Durban Art Gallery Director, Jenny Stretton, who presented them as an installation at Guth Gafa, where she discussed the creative process of commissioning and curating, and exhibit the films.

The films were screened throughout the main festival programme, before some of Guth Gafa's feature documentaries.
