Hundreds of productions set to turn Paarl into entertainment hub.
This year's Cultivaria arts festival in the Cape presented by FNB and Drakenstein Municipality promises a spectacular line-up of entertainment ranging from theatre and music to dance, comedy and classics.
From September 23 to 27, the fourth edition of South Africa's fastest growing festival will turn the Boland town of Paarl into an entertainment hub as hundreds of productions featuring some of the country's top performers are staged at various venues throughout the town. Artists include Cape Town City Ballet, Nataniƫl, the Bala Brothers, Coenie de Villiers, Rory Rootenberg, Mathys Roets, Chris Chameleon, Jak de Priester, Nianell, Dozi and David Kramer.
The Heinz Emporium will offer festival goers the opportunity to enjoy refreshments, live entertainment, wine tastings and take a breather from the jam-packed festival calendar. Celebrity chefs, food editors and cooks extraordinaire will present daily cooking demonstrations at the Bokomo Food & Home Kitchen.
Youngsters can enjoy the festival at the Liqui-Fruit Kids Theatre and Playground where a full day of entertainment is scheduled for the duration of the festival.
