Coming up on BBC Entertainment on DStv (channel 120) is Series 7 of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps - a series of eight episodes to be telecast every Friday from July 10 at 20h00.

For the five now-familiar twenty-something’s living in a northern UK town, life gets no less complicated as this hilarious comedy series continues. After six smash-hit series, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps returns by popular demand.

Jonny, Janet, Donna, Gaz and Louise are back, plus there are more appearances from hilarious barmaid Kelly. In series seven, Jonny wins a competition to go shark-jumping in Hawaii, pregnant Louise moves in with Janet, Munch turns up again, and Gaz discovers he’s a father. Plus, there’s a funeral, and one of the characters goes through the five stages of grief in record time.

This long-running series is written by a team of the UK's freshest young comedy talent. It's a brilliantly observed, highly engaging sitcom about the lives and loves of five lovable, down-at- heel twenty-somethings with scripts written for the playstation generation.

The series features Will Mellor as Gaz; Ralf Little as Jonny; Sheridan Smith as Janet; Natalie Casey as Donna and Kathryn Drysdale as Louise.
