GLENWOOD COMMUNITY PROMS

The Glenwood Community Proms will take place on August 21 at Glenwood Preparatory School (Bath Road), starting at 18h30.
The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Naum Rousine will perform an exciting programme of popular classics and chart-topping hits with powerhouse vocalists Crystal Tryon, Sam Marais and Shelley McLean heading the line-up.
The concert will also feature seven year-old violinist Roxanne van Oudtshoorn, who recently made her debut with the KZNPO at the Young Performers Concert. Items featured on the programme include Save The Last Dance For Me, Wind Beneath My Wings, Unforgettable, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and selections from Grease, Jungle Book and Chicago.
A musical feast for the whole family, this concert forms part of the Glenwood Festival, an initiative of the Glenwood Community Forum. Pack a picnic basket and bring the whole family for a relaxing evening of great entertainment. Tickets R60 from Glenwood Prep School on 031 201 5165.
