Calling all guitar enthusiasts: break the Guinness World Record™ for the largest guitar ensemble!

This year’s Durban International Blues Festival which takes place at Wilson's Wharf from September 29 to October 4 has an added element – that of the Guinness Book Of Records™ attempt to achieve the largest guitar ensemble

Supported by The Independent on Saturday and Celebrate Durban, 2010 Guitars takes place at Wilson’s Wharf on October 4 from 12h30 to 17h00 and promises an event to remember.

You don’t have to be a blues player or even an experienced performer but you must learn to play a few cords of Smoke on the Water (music sheets available on registration).

For a mere R20, guitarists of all capacities, ages and styles are invited to register and participate in this world record breaking event.
