EMERGING SOUNDS OF DURBAN FESTIVAL

Presented by Slingshot Productions and the City of Durban, The Emerging Sounds of Durban Festival offers two full days of alfresco music in the heart of the city and features some of the region’s most exciting emerging and undiscovered talent.

The programme is dynamic, offering kwaito, rock, jazz and hiphop. The line-up includes Mzayonie, Fruit & Veg, Beezory, THOTS, Abdus, Insane, Ewok and The Hypermen and many more. The festival will give those bands that don’t have a demo, the opportunity to walk away with a live demo recording from this event.

The Emerging Sounds of Durban Festival takes place at Gugu Dlamini Park, alongside The Workshop on September 24 (public holiday) and 25 with daytime concerts running from 11h00 to 17h00. Entrance is free.
