SANCTA BRANCH OPENS IN DURBAN

SA National Community Theatre Association to open branch in Durban on September 30.

The SA National Community Theatre Association (Sancta) is to open a branch in Durban at Catalina Theatre on September 30.

This will be Sancta’s second official branch outside of Gauteng. Sancta has connections in other provinces, particularly Mpumalanga, but this is its first new official branch.

The organisation looks forward to welcoming all multi-cultural theatre groups and community arts practitioners to the opening launch to introduce Sancta to them. Details will also be presented of the 30th Annual Sancta Festival plans for 2010 with the aim of entries from KZN into this festival.

The SANCTA launch takes place from 15h30 for 16h00 at The Catalina Theatre, Maydon Wharf. The function is expected to be completed at 18h00. Dress code: smart casual.
