Former Durban actor Sans Moonsamy brings zany Indian comedy to The Globe Theatre.
Former Durban actor Sans Moonsamy, now one of South Africa's premier comedians, is back at The Globe Theatre at Gold Reef City Casino in Johannesburg from October 8 to 18 with a hilarious comedy show about Indian lives, wives and drives that will have you rolling in the aisles.
Sans Moonsamy’s new Karma Komedian! show is a naughty comedy that combines sketches and stand-up, to hilarious effect. Karma Komedian! is also being turned into TV series which will be launched on Saffron TV later this year.
The comic actor who was recently seen in Durban in Guys & Dolls and Jamaican Jam, was one half of the dynamic duo that starred in the smash hit Those Indian Guys seen at The Playhouse in Durban and at The Globe Theatre, Johannesburg, earlier this year. He also appeared in the recent successful performance at The Lyric Theatre, Curry on Laughing.
Sans Moonsamy is a versatile actor, writer, director, producer and businessman who specialises in live theatre, voice acting and on-camera performance. His voice and face will be familiar to South African TV viewers. He played the character Sivan on Binnelanders and is also the lead actor on the Chicken Licken Singing Burger and the Willards’ Party Animal adverts, and a featured actor in the Dial Direct No Drama advert. Sans is also currently the voice of Saffron TV, featuring on all continuity and adverts.
The shows take place at The Globe Theatre from October 8 to 18 with performances from Thursday to Sunday with performances at 20h15 everyday, except Sundays when the show runs at 17h15.
