DTA NOMINATIONS

The Mercury Durban Theatre Awards 2008-2009 nominations list.

The seventh annual awards evening of The Mercury Durban Theatre Awards takes place at 19h30 on November 23 at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre where the theatre industry honours those who have produced work of a considerably high standard.

Along with the regular awards, which include the Judges Award and The Mercury Personality of the Year Award, the DTA will host the presentation of a new award in honour of the much-loved and respected broadcaster and writer, Monica Fairall. The Monica Fairall Memorial Award, selected independently of the DTA judging panel will recognise those who work out of the limelight but whose contribution to the performing arts is considerable.
