MUSIC REVIVAL’S 12TH BIRTHDAY CONCERT

Brahms Quintet for concert on November 8 in Pietermaritzburg.

To celebrate Music Revival’s Twelfth Birthday, the organisation promises a brilliant performance for string quartet and piano at St George’s Garrison Church in Pietermaritzburg. The main work in this afternoon programme is Brahms’ Piano Quintet in F minor op 34, a magnificent large scale work in four movements for String Quartet and Piano. Well-known pianist Christopher Duigan joins the St George’s String Quartet in this dramatic, passionate and powerful music.

The concert will take place at 15h30 on November 8 at St George’s Garrison Church in Pietermaritzburg. Tickets R80 booked through booking@musicrevival.co.za or phone 033 342 3051.
