BOB & ROB AND THE CREEPY CAMPING TRIP
(Rory Booth and Grant Jacobs in adventure mode!)
Grant Jacobs and Rory Booth have come up with third sequel for their popular two-hander.
Presented in association with TheatreBIZ at the Catalina Theatre, Bob & Rob and The Creepy Camping Trip is written and performed by Grant Jacobs and Rory Booth. Following the unprecedented success of Festive Fun with Bob and Rob, and The Further Adventures of Rob and Bob, the talented duo have come up with a third sequel for this festive season.
Two of the theatre community’s most hard-working rising stars and Catalina regulars, Rory Booth and Grant Jacobs, have jointly devised, scripted, created and directed a delicious story about brothers Bob and Rob who go on another fabulous adventure and learn important life lessons en-route. This production is especially relevant to young boys as the focus of their adventure this time takes them into the world of camping and the great outdoors. On the adventure audiences will meet the flower-hating, littering, bad-tempered Tokkie the Tokoloshe – an Afrikaans tokoloshe who is the arch enemy of humankind. Along the way, they will encounter Lizzie the theatre ladybug, Sipho the friendly garden snake from Nigeria, and Tamelda the talking tree who likes to dance. This show promises to be very different with new songs, screen projections and puppets. Audience members are requested to tke along a torch!
Bob & Rob and The Creepy Camping Trip runs daily at 11h00 (seven days a week) from December 11 to 23) and is perfect for children. It is only 45 minutes long, so is suitable for the little-ones. Tickets include a boat ride around the harbour to make a full morning’s entertainment for families. If it is cold, bring warm clothes to stay snug during the boat ride because it can get cold in the harbour!
