MEL MILLER’S BIG FAT COMEDY SHOW

One of the country’s most acerbic comedians for Heritage.

Mel Miller, one of the country’s most acerbic comedians, comes from a long line of South African comedy history together with such great names like Eddie Eckstein, Denis McLean and Cyril Green.

He will perform his one-man show, Mel Miller’s Big Fat Comedy Show, for one week only at the Heritage Theatre in Hillcrest, the first time this icon of South African stand-up comedy has played the Heritage Theatre. He comes straight from his season at the Montecasino’s massive Teatro. Not since The Lion King had so many people roared there – but this time with laughter.

Standing alone on stage, an armchair and a several bottle of mineral water as his sole companions, Mel holds court for almost two hours with a non-stop barrage of humour and insight on this wonderful country called South Africa. He is a hilarious storyteller with a sharp wit and his 44 years in the entertainment business has imbued him with the experience to deal with any situation. His uncanny take on life and what’s happening on this planet is a wonderful tonic. And we certainly need it!

Mel Miller’s Big Fat Comedy Show runs from January 26 to 31. For more information or to book call 031 765 4197 or www.heritagetheatre.co.za
