PRIME CIRCLE

Old Mutual Music at the Lake presents concert in the Durban Botanic Gardens.

Prime Circle returns to Durban Botanic Gardens on March 7 as part of the 2010 Old Mutual Music at the Lake Concert series, supported by East Coast Radio. Josie Field, performing for the first time in the Durban Botanic Gardens, opens the concert at 14h30.

Prime Circle has enjoyed great success over the past 10 years. “We’re never complacent because we are in this for the long run and know that we have the songs and performing ability to make it a reality,” says frontman Learmouth.

Prime Circle was the main international rock drawcard at the closing event of the Indian Premier League last year. Ross Learmouth, Dale Schnettler on drums, Dirk Bisschoff on lead guitar, Neil Breytenbach on keyboards and Marco Gomes on bass, made such an impression on12 million people watching the event that it resulted in the band being invited to play at the Rock ‘N India festival in Delhi and Bangalore in February this year.

Josie performed in Dubai and the UK late last year for a mini international tour and she kicked off 2010 with a performance at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens with Farryl Purkiss and Dan Patlansky. It is not surprising that she has been nominated for another MK award for Best Solo artist for the video Law of Attraction.

Early bird ticket price for adults is R80 and R100 on concert day (R20 children 6 to 12). Buy tickets online at www.webtickets.co.za or from the Info Centre in the Durban Botanic Gardens (open 7 days /week)

Gates open at 12h30. Children are always welcome in the Kids Zone providing parents with an opportunity to relax while their children are entertained and kept busy during the concert. Secure parking is available on the Juventus ground off lower St Thomas Road, adjacent to the Botanic Gardens and the Munies Hockey Field off lower Sydenham Road.
