ACTORS NEEDED FOR TWIST PROJECT

The Twist Project is looking for actors who will be available from June 16 to 26.

These actors will be performing in staged readings for the Novel-Script Project. This is a writer's project co-ordinated by Twist Theatre Development in partnership with the Netherlands-based theatre group Siberia, the National Arts Festival, and the Performing Arts Network of South Africa (PANSA).

This exciting project involves the bringing together of established and emerging writers from Holland and South Africa for a ten-day workshop in Grahamstown, as a prelude to the National Arts Festival.

The project is looking for actors who are fluent in English, are quick studies, and fit the following character profiles: Strong black male (aged 30-45); White female (aged 30-45); White male - preferably able to do an Afrikaans accent (aged 30-45); Black female - with model-like looks (aged 25-35)

Actors must be free from June 16 to 26 and able to travel to Grahamstown for this residential project. Transport and accommodation will be arranged. Actors will receive remuneration for the project, as well as meals and a daily stipend.
