A NIGHT TO SHINE GOSPEL CONCERT

Closing date for demos is April 20.

Ernie Smith & Child of the Light Production’s presents concert on April 24 featuring Ernie Smith, Natalie Rungan, Imelda Wroots and a String Quartet.

The organisers are giving one person an opportunity to “win a recording”. A ticket bought for the concert also qualifies the holder entry to the competition. Candidates can buy tickets from Gateway/ Pavilion Music in Durban or online on 074 101 2397 and thereafter send a demo of a gospel song with a name and ticket number to lucretia@erniesmith.co.za or drop off at Gateway/Pavilion Music. Demo’s can be studio recorded or recorded on an entrant’s phone. Top three entrants will perform a Gospel song at the concert and by applause and cheer of the crowd, a winner will be picked at the end of the evening.

The winner will record an original song, produced by SA Premier Artist, Ernie Smith. Winner will also be given a chance to perform the new song as an opening act at the next concert where the competition will be run again for another winner to be picked. Once ten winners have been picked over the course of the year, a ten-track album with each winner’s song will be recorded. Sales from the album will go to the winners.

The competition is open to all persons from all provinces and the closing date for demos is April 20.

The concert takes place at 18h00 on April 24 at the Grace Outreach Church, 1 Spire Street, Stonebridge Phoenix, Durban. Tickets R100. More information on 074 101 2397.
