Rhumbelow Theatre presents the first of its children’s programmes for holiday seasons.

In the first of its new ongoing children’s programmes, Rhumbelow Theatre will present Jonah and the Whale. This promises an exciting and educational musical narration of the classic Bible tale performed by acting/singing duo Jaziel Vaugh’hann and Kerry-Lee McKibbin. The show will incorporate fun and familiar sing-alongs, dancing, sock puppets, toys, creative kids’ crafts and colouring-in competitions.

Jaziel (26) is a former youth Leader better known as the Prince Charming of the 2009 adult Christmas panto Sinderella and Kerry-Lee (20), who has an honours graduate in modern dancing and is currently teaching dance to young people). With a combined 17 years of experience in the entertainment world, they both share a great passion for working with children! They appeared together more recently in Ballito’s Pumpkin Theatre, assuming lead roles in both Hot Summer Nights and Rock Britannia.

Jonah and the Whale is more than just a children’s show. It’s education through entertainment and is bound to keep youngsters talking for weeks on end. A variety of snacks and juices will be available for sale. Shows will run daily from June 21 to July 12 at 14h30. Tickets R50 are limited so early booking is advised.
