CHARMAINE EASTMENT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Crouse Art Gallery artist to donate 10% to children’s home.

During July and August, artist Charmaine Eastment will donate 10% of all sales of her paintings sold at Crouse Art Gallery to Thokomala Children’s Home.

The Anton Benzon @ Crouse Art Gallery is a spacious and airy gallery space situated at 254 Lillian Ngoyi / Windermere Rd Morningside, Durban – a stone’s throw away from Windermere Centre. The gallery showcases excellent works of art by inspirational South African artists and deals exclusively in original South African fine art.

Artists working in the upper Highway area are volunteering their time and skills to make a difference to Thokomala Children’s Home a cluster facility that is home to 19 children between the ages of two to 18, in the semi-rural district of Kwa Nyuswa in the Valley of a Thousand Hills.

Participating artists include Charmaine Eastment, Henk Vos, Cassy Healy, Sheena Macquet, Nicky Chovuchovu and Paul Mzefani. The artists have been painting walls together with volunteers and the children who are resident in the facility.

As well as participating in this project, Eastment is donating 10% of her sales of her work on show at Crouse Art Gallery to the initiative.
