Monday Night Premier on M-Net

Christmas Cottage, directed by Michael Campus and featuring Jared Padalecki, Peter O’Toole and Marcia Gay Harden will be screened on M-Net on July 5 at 21h30.

Thomas Kinkade arrives home from art school to discover that his mother has fallen behind on her mortgage payments and is about to lose her cottage. Determined to help her, he takes on a painting job to draw tourists to the small town. As the mural takes shape, Tom gets inspiration from ageing artist Glen Wessler, who encourages him to "paint the light". And paint the light he does: the finished product is both inspirational and life-affirming, and marks the beginning of a long and successful career.
