As you walk with the performers you glimpse echoes of private home spaces and the connection or disconnection of people living there. Sometimes a house is not a home, and yet at other times a home is where we find our redemption.
The dancers offer a very personal account of relationships that beautifully echo the home environment. Directed by Lliane Loots and jointly choreographed and performed by the whole company - Sifiso Khumalo, Magesh Ngcobo, Mlondi Zondi, Jabu Siphika and Teekay Quvane, private BREATHING spaces, is a stark and skilful jewel of a dance theatre work that will leave you with much to talk about – including the power of the dancing body as a site of glorious and transgressive storytelling.
