Old Mutual Music at the Lake presents Watershed at Durban Botanic GardensOld Mutual Music will present the acclaimed group Watershed at Durban Botanic Gardens on July 18.
Watershed’s lead singer song writer Craig Hinds commented: “2010 has been a whirlwind year for the band which has included two overseas tours and a new album release, as well as live performances at numerous venues around South Africa.’ The new album will be a main feature of this concert which has some new material as well as a few special favourites.
Continued radioplay and consistent live requests for Watershed’s breakout hits, Indigo Girl and Lovely Day and many more confirms the enduring appeal of this melodic pop group. Their recently released album A Million Faces is described as nothing short of inspirational.
In keeping with the concerts being popular for the whole family outing, the opening band the Hinds Brothers, Aden and Wren, just happen to be brothers of Craig Hinds. Aden and Wren Hinds, both singer/songwriters, unite to form an incomparable duo. The Hinds Brothers intend to bring a revolution in the truest sense as they make music for everyone which is thoughtful, provoking, and at the same time melodic, playful and vibrant. Their voices blend into an unmistakable harmony.
The Gardens is the perfect setting for a picnic outing with the whole family. There is a Kids Zone where children are entertained from 13h30 until 16h30, giving parents a chance to relax and enjoy the music.
