The University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Centre for Jazz & Popular Music will host voice student Babalwa Mentjies in a programme of American and South African jazz standards. She will be accompanied by Siphesihle Mngwengwe (piano), Siyabonga Duma (saxophone), Paki Peloeole (drums) and Prince Bulo (bass).
The concert takes place at the Centre for Jazz on August 18 at 17h30 (doors opens at 17h00). Tickets R25 (R10 students). More information on 031 260 3385.
