Baroque 2000 and National Youth Choir at Mariannhill.
Baroque 2000 teams up with the National Youth Choir (Course 2010) to perform at the Church of the Monastery, Mariannhill on August Sunday 8 William Silk will conduct Vivaldi’s Gloria, and will also direct the choir in a special unaccompanied item. The other works are Corelli’s Concerto Grosso no. 10, and Geminiani’s Concerto Grosso on a theme of Corelli.
The concert takes place at 15h00 on August 8 (doors open at 14h30). Tickets R80 at the door and there is ample safe parking. The Monastery Tea Garden is no longer open, but coffee will be provided by Caffe Pronto. Enquiries to Michel on 031 312 5539 or email: sursouth@iafrica.com
