KZNPO SUNDAY SINFONIA RETURNS

KZN Philharmonic’s popular Sunday series returns to St Thomas’s Church.

The KZN Philharmonic’s popular Sunday Sinfonia series returns to St Thomas’ Church in Musgrave, with the first concert on August 22 celebrating the 200th anniversary of Schumann’s birth.

Boris Kerimov, principal cellist of the KZN Philharmonic will perform Schumann’s much loved Cello Concerto in A Minor under the baton of the orchestra’s resident conductor, Naum Rousine. Also featured in the programme is Mozart’s Divertimento No. 1 in E-flat major and Mozart’s Symphony No. 16 in C Major.
