The opening concert of the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic’s spring season is themed For the Love of Tchaikovsky and the programme includes Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto in D Major and Shostakovich’s Symphony No 5 in D Minor. Conductor is Victor Yampolsky and soloist will be Swiss violinist Sibylle Tschopp.
