It’s another star-studded week on the Late Show with David Letterman for the week October 4 to 8 at 23:15, airing exclusively in South Africa on Sony Entertainment Television, DStv channel 113.

October 4: American actor Shia LaBeouf (Eagle Eye, Transformers) joins Dave in studio to talk about his latest drama film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, co-starring Michael Douglas and Carey Mulligan. Stand-up comedian Brian Regan gives the studio audience a taste of his comedy routine and alternative rock band Jimmy Eat World performs from their latest album release Invented

October 5: Emmy® Award winning actress Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, Knocked Up) talks about her latest romantic comedy film Life as WE Know It, co-starring Josh Duhamel and Josh Lucas. Korean American actor Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) discusses his latest role as Chin Cho Kelly in the crime drama series Hawaii Five-0 and pop punk band Runner, Runner performs from their latest album release Runner, Runner

October 6: American political satirist, writer, television host, actor, media critic and stand-up comedian Jon Stewart (The Daily Show) will talk about his latest book Earth (The Book): A Visitor's Guide to the Human Race. American rock, funk and hip hop band N.E.R.D performs from their latest album release Nothing.

October 7: The headline guest will be New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg with actor Jesse Eisenberg (The Village, Zombieland) talking about his role as Facebook creator Marc Zuckerberg in the upcoming drama film The Social Network.

October 8: Golden Globe ® Award winner Tom Selleck (Three Men and a Baby, Magnum P.I.) discusses his latest role as Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the television drama series True Bloods. Also in the studio will be author and senior editor of The New York Times, Janet Elder, talking about her latest book Huck: The Remarkable True Story Of How One Lost Puppy Taught A Family -- And A Whole Town -- About Hope and Happy Endings. Music super group Tired Pony performs from their latest album release The Place We Ran From.
